Thank you for joining the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE). We are delighted that you have chosen to join us in advancing media literacy education throughout the United States.
Here are some things you should know about your membership:
- Your membership begins today and extends for one year (two if you chose that option).
- You will receive a renewal notice by e-mail one month before your membership expires. Help us save time, trouble and postage by renewing promptly.
- Watch for the monthly NAMLE Update at your primary e-mail address. If you don't see the next issue within 30 days, check your spam filter. If it still doesn't arrive, contact namle@namle.net .
- Whether you are joining as an individual or an organization, a new member or a renewing / returning one, please take a few minutes to become familiar with the rich resources now available to you on this new website. Feel free to return often to the following orientation page until you've explored every nook and cranny of the site and can share it with others:
- Which reminds me to invite you to go forth and spread the word about NAMLE, our website and our next National Media Education Conference in Detroit, August 1-4, 2009. Members are our best recruiters, and we invite you to help us build NAMLE into a strong and active national organization.
